Special Acknowledgements are issued by the Board of Directors. These awards are handed out at the next GMM after the member has done what we are honoring them for. These awards are mainly handed out after an event, and to a member whom the board or a general member has seen taking the initiative and either doing work that needs to be done without asking, not complaining of doing a task, volunteering for unwanted tasks, etc…

Member of the Year awards are picked by the Board of Directors in the October board meeting, and handed out at the December GMM. The Board can bestow this award on any general member for any reason that they think that member stood out above the rest year long.

Board Member of the Year is picked by the members at the November GMM. Any member can nominate a board member that they feel deserves this award.

Going Above and Beyond is picked by the membership at the November meeting. Any member can nominate another member or board member that they feel went above the call of duty for the year.

Most Improved Member is an award given by the board for up to three people that they feel have improved over the year. It could be an improvement in their Jaycee life, personal life, or professional life.

Recruiter of the Year is handed out to the member who has recruited the most members during the year.
